Adding HEC to Foireann Profile

Overview

As a Student, one of the first things you need to do is add the HEC (Higher Education College) to your Foireann profile. 

Regardless if your Foireann account is brand new, or you use it already for your local club, the process for adding another unit i.e. Club, HEC, School etc. is the same.

Below is a step-by-step guide on how to add an HEC to your profile.

Adding HEC club to Foireann profile

1. Navigate to www.foireann.ie and log in using your username and password.

2. Click on the Profile section via the left-hand side menu.

3. Scroll towards the bottom of your profile, where there is a section called 'My Club(s)'

4. Click 'Add Club' or if you already have a club listed on your profile, click 'Add Additional Club'

5. From the 'Association' dropdown, choose 'College'. 

6. From the 'County Board' dropdown, choose which County Board the HEC is located

7.  Click within the 'Club' field, and a list of HECs will be listed from within that County. You can also type the HEC name to speed up the search.

NOTE: If your HEC is not listed, please search for the Irish spelling of the HEC or if the HEC has an Abbreviation. If the HEC is still not listed, please see the next section of this article.

8. The HEC will be listed in your profile, and you can go ahead and click 'Save' at the bottom of the page.

What to do if your HEC is not available for selection

If your HEC is not listed within the dropdown on Foireann when adding the club to your profile. Please search for the following:

- The Irish and/or English spelling of the HEC

- Any abbreviations of the HEC

If the HEC is still not listed, please contact the admin for the HEC. They can then reach out to Foireann Support to get the HEC added to the system.
