What is the National Club Draw?
The National Club Draw is an annual fundraising initiative organised by the GAA. It provides Clubs across the country with an opportunity to raise funds for their activities and projects.
Clubs sell tickets to their members and the public, offering individuals the chance to win attractive prizes, such as cars, cash prizes and more. There is no financial cost to clubs to get involved as the costs of tickets and prizes are covered by the Central Council.
This initiative is a vital source of financial support for local GAA, LGFA and Camogie clubs and contributes to the growth and development of Gaelic games at the grassroots level.
Important Dates:
- 20th December 2023 - Last request for tickets before the Christmas Holidays
- 23rd February 2024 - Last request for tickets before the Draw
- 8th March 2024 - Tickets to be returned to County Liaison Officers (CLOs)
- 27th March 2024 - GAA National Club Draw
How do I enter the draw?
1. Log into your Foireann account and you will be taken to the 'Home' screen, on this screen click the 'Enter Draw' button.
2. From the 'My Clubs' dropdown select your club, or you can search Foireann to purchase a draw ticket for another Club if your Club is not taking part in the National Club Draw. To purchase a ticket from a Club that is not listed on your Foireann profile, use the 'County' dropdown and search for the Club in the second dropdown.
Note: Details from the draw screen are pre-populated from your Foireann profile |
3. After you have selected the club you would like to purchase a ticket from, scroll to the 'Entrants' form to ensure your details are correct and if any of your details are incorrect you can make changes here.
4. You can use the 'Add Entrant' button at the bottom of the form to enter the details of a family member or friend etc.
5. If you have added too many entrants to your order you can use the 'Bin' icon in the top right corner of the entrant's details to delete that entrant from your order.
Note: a maximum of 10 entrants can be added and you can only purchase a maximum of 10 tickets. For example, if you purchased 9 tickets in your first order you would only be able to purchase a maximum of 1 ticket in a separate order. |
If you have tried following the steps above but received the message shown in the image below, it means the club does not have online ticket purchases enabled. You will have to contact a club administrator about purchasing a ticket outside of Foireann (offline).
