Overview
When registering LGFA HEC members, there is a three-step process.
- The member selects a membership option, answers the relevant questions and registers with the HEC.
- The HEC then needs to complete the registration by paying the relevant fees to the HEC Association.
- The registration is sent to the LGFA for Approval
Once all three steps are completed, the member will be successfully registered with the LGFA HEC.
This guide will outline how HEC admins can complete the registration by paying the relevant fees.

HEC Association Fees
Depending on the Association, the fees for HEC memberships may differ. For the current 2023/2024 season, the HEC Membership fees for each Association are as follows:
HEC Association | Fee |
GAA | €0 / £0 |
LGFA | €0 / £0 |
Camogie | €0 / £0 |
Even if the HEC Association fees are €0 / £0, the HEC admin will still be required to complete the registration on behalf of the member by following the steps outlined in the next section. The same steps apply if the HEC Association has fees/no fees attached.
You can only pay the relevant Association fees if the membership chip beside the member looks something like this:
The membership chip should be yellow and state 'fees due'.
If the membership chip is red and states 'Payment Due' - then a step in the registration has been missed.
The HEC admin will need to follow the steps outlined in the following help guide to update the membership to the correct 'Fees Due' state.
- HEC - Marking Members as Paid
NOTE: Depending on the HEC Association, the wording on the membership chip may vary. For example, in the above screenshot, it states 'LGFA' however this could be replaced by 'GAA' or 'Camogie'. |
Paying the relevant Association Fees
As an HEC admin, please follow the steps outlined below to pay the relevant Association fees to complete the member's HEC membership.
1. Navigate to the Membership section.
2. Within the Members tab, find the member(s) you wish to pay the Association fees for.
3. Beside the member's record, please ensure they have a yellow 'Fees Due' membership chip as outlined above.
4. Tick the checkbox beside the member(s) record and click Fee Actions > Pay 'Association' Fees. Please choose the relevant option from the dropdown to correspond with the membership selected.
NOTE: 'Association' will be replaced by either LGFA, Camogie and/or Handball. This is solely dependent on whether the HEC is set up as a single Association or if it's set up as a OneClub and covers all Associations. |
5. A pop-up modal will appear which will outline the memberships you are about to pay for and any fees attached. The system will advise you if there are fees required to fully complete a member's registration.
6. Click 'Complete Membership' For this example, there are no fees being charged. However, if there were fees to be charged the 'Complete Membership' button would be displayed as 'Pay Fees'.
7. A pop-up confirmation box will appear, click 'Confirm'.
8. Once the relevant fees have been paid for, the membership will remain in a yellow state but will be upgraded to 'Awaiting Approval'.
NOTE: The 'Awaiting Approval' step is for LGFA only. |
9. Once the LGFA has approved the registration, it will then update to a green 'Paid' membership.
