Cancelling an Instalment/Subscription Plan

This article will explain how a club administrator can cancel an instalment/subscription plan for a club member. Just so you know, this is an administrator-only task.

Club members cannot cancel their instalment/subscription plan and therefore must contact their club administrator to handle the request.

Cancelling an Instalment/Subscription Plan

A club administrator can follow the steps outlined below to cancel an instalment/subscription plan for a club member:

1. Navigate to the Membership section

2. Within the member's table, find the member in question

3. On their record, click on the membership chip which was paid in instalments

4. Click 'Cancel Subscription'

5. Click 'Confirm'

Cancelling the Subscription/Instalment plan will only stop future payments from being taken. It will not refund any previous payments taken as part of the plan.

What happens next?

A note will be added to the membership chip to indicate that the instalment/subscription plan has been cancelled and a warning triangle will be listed beside the payment status on the membership order.

The club can decide to either keep the membership chip listed on the system or revoke the membership chip.

FAQs

Q) Is the member still registered if their instalment plan/subscription is cancelled?

 A) If the member still has a green membership chip listed in their record, then yes, they are still registered. A member is no longer registered when a membership chip is revoked.

Q) I have cancelled the instalment/subscription plan for a member. Can I get a refund from the LGFA and/or Camogie Association for the fees paid?

A) You will need to contact the Associations directly to discuss this request. Foireann Support cannot approve refunds for registration fees from the Associations.

Q)The member is due a refund for their instalment/subscription plan.

 A) If the member is due a refund for their instalment/subscription plan, there are two possible solutions:

1. The club handles any refunds within the club and offline from Foireann.

2. The club contacts Foireann Support to refund any overpayments.
