To receive the relevant permissions on Foireann to review these applications on behalf of your County, you will need to do the following in order:
1. Add your County to your profile
2. Get an admin for your County to assign you the role of SFO in the Executive Committee
NOTE: You must have your County listed in your profile before being assigned Safety & Facilities Officer |
1. Log into your Foireann account and go to the 'Profile' section on the left navigation menu.
2. Under the 'Your Club(s) section add your County using the filters provided.
eg:

Reviewing the GAA Development Fund Applications as a Safety & Facilities Officer
1. Log into your Foireann account and go to the 'Administration' section on the left navigation menu.
2. Once in the Administration section, you can either select the 'Financial Applications' tab (to the right of the 'Overview' tab) or select the 'View Applications' button under the Financial Applications box.
You will see a list of different financial applications made by clubs within your county and any financial applications your county has made.
NOTE: It's best to filter the table based on application type. Use the three horizontal lines in the top right-hand corner of the table and choose type = GAA Development Fund |
3. To access the application, click on the 'View' button.
At the top of the page, you will see the 'Approval Steps' below is a summary of how the GAA Development Fund Applications works: Club Applies → County Reviews → Province Reviews → GAA Finance Reviews |
Below the approval steps, you can see the responses submitted, add a note to the application and download all attachments.
4. To add a note to the application, select the 'Add Note' button and a pop-up box will appear where you can add your comments, click the 'Add Note' button to save.
5. Since several documents will be uploaded on each application you can download all attached files to review outside of Foireann. To do this click on the 'Download All Attachments' button, and a zipped folder containing all of the attachments for that club's application will download to your device.
6. To review the application click on the 'Review' button at the top of the page.
7. A series of 'Yes/No' questions will appear in a separate form. At the bottom of the form, you will be able to 'Approve' the application or 'Request More Info' from the club.
8. The 'Approve' button will move the application to the next stage of the review process (provincial review), and the 'Request More Info' button will display a pop-up box where you can provide a reason for requesting more information and the club will be notified with the reason you provided.
When the application is approved the Approval Steps will update.
