Stripe has discontinued SEPA Credit Transfer as a top-up option. As a result, this method has been removed from Foireann. This article explains what this change means for your club and the alternative top-up options available.

Impact on your Club
If your club has previously used SEPA Credit Transfer to add funds to its Foireann-linked Stripe account, this update affects you
Your Stripe account remains unchanged, and you can continue using it as normal. However, you will no longer be able to top up your balance using SEPA Credit Transfer.
Actions Required

Remove Old IBAN Details

Delete the old IBAN from your online banking payees list or any other saved records.

The old bank account is no longer valid for payments.

Do Not Send Funds to the Old IBAN

Payments sent to the old IBAN will not be processed.

There may be delays in receiving any returned funds.

Await New Bank Details

In the coming weeks, we will provide new virtual bank account details for your club.

Once available, we will contact clubs with the updated information.

The process for adding funds will remain the same, but with new bank details.

Alternative Payment Methods
Until the new virtual bank account details are provided, clubs can top up their balance using the following methods:

Card Payments – Instantly add funds using a credit or debit card.

SEPA Direct Debit – A secure option requiring approval from multiple administrators. This is not an automatic direct debit, meaning your club has full control over when and how much to top up.
We strongly recommend using SEPA Direct Debit as the preferred method due to its security benefits.
