Overview
As of January 31st, 2025, the SEPA Credit Transfer payment method has been removed from Foireann, as Stripe no longer supports it. See SEPA Credit Transfers - No Longer Supported for more information.
This has been replaced with a new method called Bank Transfer (€). This payment method is only available with EUR (€) Stripe accounts.

SEPA Credit Transfer - No Longer Supported
Stripe has discontinued SEPA Credit Transfer as a top-up option. As a result, this method has been removed from Foireann.

What does this mean for my club?
If you have used SEPA Credit Transfer as a top up method for your club's Stripe account, you need to delete the IBAN you have saved for your Stripe account - it would have been a German IBAN. If you don't delete it and send money to this IBAN, the money will bounce and not reach your Stripe account since that IBAN no longer exists.
What do I need to do now?
If you haven't done so already, you need to add a new payment method to replace the SEPA Credit Transfer method.
Other payment methods that already exist on Foireann are Card and SEPA Debit - see Adding funds to your Foireann-linked Stripe account for more information.
To set up a payment method follow the steps below. Please note, you must have Club Admin and Finance Admin access.
Log into your account and go to 'Administration'
Click on 'Add Payment Method'
Select 'Bank Transfer (€)' as the Payment Type
A pop up will appear with your Virtual Bank Account details.
Please save your new Virtual Bank Account details i.e. BIC, IBAN, Bank Address etc. and replace your old IBAN details where the address was in Germany.
There is a calculator below the account details to help work out how much money will reach your Stripe account, since there is a €1.11 fixed charge plus a 0.26% charge on bank transfer (€) top ups.

Q) How do I get my new bank details?
A) Log into an account with Club Admin and Finance Admin access
- Go to 'Administration'
- In the Request Top Up box click 'Add Payment Method'. If a payment method is already added click 'Manage Payment Methods' - 'Add'
- From the Payment Type dropdown select 'Bank Transfer (€)'
- Your new virtual bank details will appear
- Send money from your bank to the new IBAN
