Offline Registration
There are two main ways that an administrator can register a member offline.
- Manually Register Option - Configure your membership options so that membership options are only selectable by your club administrators.
- Pay Later In Club Option - Configure your membership options so that the option is visible and selectable by your club members and that the payment option available is ‘Pay Later In Club’.
-
- NOTE: This approach is recommended if your club does not facilitate online payments through Foireann but would still like to offer family membership options
Regardless of which way you register your members, you must create your membership options. Please see the following link for more information on how to create these: Membership Options.
MANUALLY REGISTER MEMBERS
If your club does not wish to accept online payments nor present your club members with an opportunity to select their own members’ option you will be able to manually register your members on Foireann.
Please note that in order to manually register your members, you will still need to create Membership Options. Manual registration allows for multiple individuals to be registered quickly for a particular Membership Option (i.e Adult Players, Youth etc).
When manually registering, you will not be able to choose a membership option which caters for more that one Member (i.e. Family Membership), if this is a requirement your member would need to follow the steps in the 'Pay Later In Club' option instead so that the admin can register the members using the 'Mark As Paid'.
For registering members, there are two steps which an administrator needs to do:
- Verify the member (if not already done)
- Register the member
To manually register member(s), please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to the Membership section.
2. Tick the checkbox beside the member(s) you wish to register.
3. Click the Register button.
4. Select the membership option which applies to the member(s).
5. Click the Register button.
6. Upon refreshing the page, within the Membership column, a membership order will be displayed.
By clicking on the Membership order, you will be able to see the following information:
- The name of the membership option
- The price of the membership option
- The season the membership is for
- Payment Method
- Online Payment - Paid via Stripe
- Paid In Club - Manually Registered/Marked as Paid
- Payment Status
- PAID
- DUE
- Date Created
- The member’s name
- The club and association
- The member’s registration date
- When their registration is valid to
- Member Type
- Playing Status
NOTE: Only when your membership has been verified, will they receive a welcome email from the association and given a membership ID (if they haven’t got one already).
PAY LATER IN CLUB
If your club wishes to offer membership options with the payment method ‘Pay Later in Club’, this means that your members can choose the membership option which best suits them and complete the relevant steps to provide their relevant information. The member(s) will enter a state of ‘In Progress’ and as the administrator, you can mark the member(s) as ‘Paid’ and register them at a later stage once payment has been received.
For example, if a club offers a student membership and has selected the payment option ‘Pay Later In Club’ within the membership option designer, the member can select this option and complete the necessary steps. Once submitted, the administrator can then review this membership and click ‘Mark as Paid’.

For example, if a member is registered on the 27th of December, their registration date will be the 1st of January 2021. If a member is registered on the 14th of January, their registration date will be on the 14th of January.
Within the Member’s homepage, their membership status will update to display ‘Registered’.
NOTE: Members will receive an email confirmation of their registration once they have been ‘verified’.
In the example above, Mark (the member) is not verified with this club, therefore, the administrator will need to complete the steps outlined in Member Verification section to ensure the member is fully verified and registered.
Once fully verified, the member will receive a welcome email from the system containing their membership number.
