Manual LGFA registration with offline payment

OFFLINE REGISTRATION

LGFA registrations must be completed on Foireann. Regardless of your club accepting online payments or not, your club must complete the following administrative tasks:

1. Setting up the Club Stripe Account ( See HERE for more information on how to set up)
2. Creating Membership Options (See HERE for more details on creating your options)

When registering your members, there are three key stages which are outlined below: 

1. Registering/Verifying Members (Administrators/Members)

2. Paying Registration Fees (Administrators Only)

3. Awaiting Approval from the LGFA (Association Only)

REGISTERING / VERIFYING MEMBERS

There are two main ways that an administrator can register a member offline.

1. Manually Register Option - Configure your membership options so that membership options are only selectable by your club administrators.
2. Pay Later In Club Option - Configure your membership options so that the option is visible and selectable by your club members and that the payment option available is ‘Pay Later In Club’.

• • NOTE: This approach is recommended if your club does not facilitate online payments through Foireann but would still like to offer a family membership option

MANUALLY REGISTERING MEMBERS

If your club does not wish to accept online payments nor present your club members with an opportunity to select their own members’ option you will be able to manually register your members on Foireann.

Please note that in order to manually register your members, you will still need to create Membership Options. Manual registration allows for multiple individuals to be registered quickly for a particular Membership Option (i.e Adult Players, Youth etc).

When manually registering, you will not be able to choose a membership option that caters for more that one Member (i.e. Family Membership), if this is a requirement your member would need to follow the steps in the 'Pay Later In Club' option instead so that the admin can register the members using the 'Mark As Paid'.  

For registering members, there are three steps that an administrator needs to do:

1. Verify the member (if not already done)
2. Register the member
3. Pay Registration Fees to the County, Province and Association

To manually register member(s), please follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Membership section.

2. Tick the checkbox beside the member(s) you wish to register.

3. Click the Register button.

4. Select the membership option which applies to the member(s).

5. Click the Register button.

6. Upon refreshing the page, within the Membership column, a membership record will be displayed which has the status 'Fees Due'. 

By clicking on the Membership order, you will be able to see the following information:

• The name of the membership option
• The price of the membership option
• The season the membership is for
• Payment Method
  • Online Payment - Paid via Stripe
  • Paid In Club - Manually Registered/Marked as Paid
• Payment Status
  • PAID
  • DUE
• Date Created
• The member’s name
• The club and association
• Member Type
• Playing Status
• Membership Status

NOTE: The member is not yet registered. Your club is required to pay the registration fees to the County, Province and LGFA.

PAY LATER IN CLUB

If your club wishes to offer membership options with the payment method ‘Pay Later in Club’, this means that your members can choose the membership option which best suits them and complete the relevant steps to provide their relevant information.

This link will provide step-by-step instructions which your club members can follow to

begin the registration process to their club.

The member(s) will enter a state of ‘In Progress’ and as the administrator, you can mark the member(s) as ‘Paid’ and register them at a later stage once payment has been received.

Now that the relevant member information has been entered, their registration is shown as ‘In Progress’. As an administrator, in order to complete the registration to the club, you will need to follow the steps outlined below.

1. Navigate to the Membership Section.

2. Click on the Members Tab.

3. Find the member in question, you can use the search filters ‘Membership Status’ and choose ‘In Progress’ from the dropdown.

4. Click on the Membership order underneath the Membership column.

5. Review the information within the order and click the ‘Mark As Paid’ button.

6. The page will reload, and the membership status for the member will update from ‘In Progress’ to ‘Fees Due’. 

NOTE: The member is not yet registered. Your club is required to pay the registration fees to the County, Province and LGFA.
