Another popular scenario for many clubs would be when a member record has been transferred over from the old registration system and the member also created an account on Foireann.
For these scenarios, when merging records on Foireann it is vital that as an administrator that you choose the record which has an account/username listed as the primary record.
For example, see the screenshot below, both of these member records are for Peter Green. As you can see the following fields contain the exact same information:
- Name
- DOB
- Address
- Family
- Clubs
- Additional Information
The only differences between these two records are the Registration ID, Account Status and Membership and Additional Information.
For this scenario, as a club administrator, you would select the record which has the Account Status petergreen_5054 (Last login: 2 days ago ) listed as the primary record. By doing this, the registration ID and Memberships from the other record will be merged into the primary record. This means that following the merge, the remaining record for Peter on Foireann would state:
- Name: Peter Green
- Registration ID: 5000993
- DOB: 11/09/1978
- Address: 79 Green Road
- Account Status: petergreen_5054 (Last login: 2 days ago )
- Family: No Family
- Clubs: Portlaoise GAA
- Memberships: GAA, 2021 - Full (Non-Playing) paid
- Additional Information: Male, +353870000000
