How to update membership options for the new season

Overview

This article provides a guide for club administrators on how to update their club's membership options for the new season. By following these steps, administrators can ensure that their club's membership offerings are accurate and up to date for the upcoming season, without the need to create new options or manually edit existing ones.  This article also covers editing, hibernating and cloning membership options.

Accessing membership options

As a club administrator, you can access your club's membership options by navigating to the 'Membership' section on the left-side panel and selecting the 'Membership Options' tab

Note: you will need club administrator access on your Foireann account to continue the steps below 

Updating membership options

After navigating to the 'Membership Options' tab, click the 'Update for the 2024 season' button and a modal will appear listing the membership options your club currently has active, you can choose which membership options you want to update and if you want to hibernate your 2023 options while making the 2024 options active.

Editing membership options

You can edit membership options at any time.  To do this navigate back to the 'Membership Options' tab and click on the 'Edit' button under the membership option you would like to change.  In the editing screen, you can make as many changes as you like, for example, editing the package name/description, price and visibility and who the membership applies to.

Hibernating membership options

Hibernating (deleting) a membership option will move it to a separate view where only club administrators will be able to view the deleted option and re-activate it if needed.  

Cloning membership options

Cloning a membership option is a way of copying and pasting a membership option you have already created, you can then edit the option to change its details.
