How to update teams for the 2022 season

The following article will outline what steps a Club administrator will need to take to update the current teams listed within the Club on Foireann for the 2022 season.

There are two main tasks to ensure that the teams are accurate for the new season:

1. Updating the Age Level
2. Adding & Removing Coaches & Supervisors

Updating the Age Level

For the teams in which you want to update for the 2022 season, you will need to follow the steps outlined below to update the Age Level assigned to each team:

1. Navigate to the Teams section via the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the system.

2. Click on the three horizontal lines button in the top right-hand corner of the table.

3. From the ‘My Teams Only’ dropdown, choose ‘No’ and within the ‘Clubs’ field, type in the Club in which you want to update teams (this is only needed if you have more than one Club listed in your profile)

3. Beside the team you wish to update, click the ‘View Team’ button

4. Under ‘Age Level’ click the dropdown and increase the Age Level. For example, if the team was U13 in 2021 then update this team to U14 for the 2022 season.

5. Click Save. The Team will then update to the next Age Level. 

NOTE: You will need to do this for each team that is moving up an Age Level.

Adding & Removing Coaches/Supervisors

For the teams in which you want to update for the 2022 season, you will need to follow the steps outlined below to add or remove any Coaches/Supervisors to each team:

1. Navigate to the Teams section via the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the system.

2. Click on the three horizontal lines button in the top right-hand corner of the table.

3. From the ‘My Teams Only’ dropdown, choose ‘No’ and within the ‘Clubs’ field, type in the Club in which you want to update teams (this is only needed if you have more than one Club listed in your profile)

4. Beside the team you wish to update, click the ‘View Team’ button

5. If you need to remove a Coach / Supervisor, then find the member you wish to remove from within the team list and click the X beside the role which is displayed beside their record.

6. If you need to add a Coach / Supervisor, then click the ‘Add Coach’ or ‘Add Supervisor’ button and find the member in question.

NOTE: If the member does not appear as an option to select, please ensure that they have:

• Got a valid login to Foireann
• Have added the Club to their profile.

7. Tick the checkbox beside their name and click ‘Add’

After assigning the new Coaches and/or Supervisors, these members now have the ability to add and remove players from the team if required.
