Linking Tobar (LMS) account to Foireann

Depending on your role within the GAA, LGFA or Camogie Association, you may undertake a course to gain qualifications such as Child Safeguarding, Coaching Awards, Anti-doping certificate etc.

Qualifications are managed via Tobar (https://learning.gaa.ie/ ) previously known as the GAA’s Learning Management System (LMS).

One of the main aims for Foireann is to have all of your information in one place including your Membership, Vetting and Qualifications. Therefore we recommend that members link their Tobar account to Foireann so that the Qualifications / Certificates which they have achieved can be accessible via Foireann and can be visible to the relevant members of their Club.

Our team has attempted to automatically link as many Tobar (LMS) accounts as possible to Foireann however if your account has not been successfully linked, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

• You have multiple Tobar (LMS) accounts.
• Your details on Tobar and Foireann do not match i.e. different surnames, different email addresses etc.
• At the time of the sync, you did not have a Foireann account

How to link Tobar (LMS) account to Foireann

If your Tobar (LMS) account is not successfully linked to Foireann, do not worry. The information below provides the guidance you need to know about linking your LMS (Tobar) account to Foireann.

Follow the steps outlined below, to link your Tobar (LMS) account to Foireann.

1. Login to both Foireann and Tobar (LMS)

2. Within Tobar (LMS), near the search bar at the top of the page, you will see a green button ‘Foireann Connect’.

3. Click on the ‘Foireann Connect’ button and this will direct you to Foireann. (If you are not already logged in, it will prompt you to).

4. Before linking your account, please review the details on the screen and ensure that you are logged in under the correct Foireann account.

5. Once you are happy, you can click the two accounts by clicking ‘Create Link’.

6. Click ‘Confirm’

7. If successful, your Tobar (LMS) account will be successfully linked.

If you don't have the green 'Foireann Connect' button within your Tobar account, please contact [e-mail] for them to enable it for you.

If a member is over 18 but doesn't have their own Foireann account, then the club admin will need to invite the member to create a login for them to link their Tobar account to their Foireann Account. Club admins can follow the steps outlined in the link below to invite a member to create an account:
