Overview
As a club administrator, one of your responsibilities is to review and decide on a player's transfer application. This article provides a detailed guide on how to review a player's application, add notes to it, and make the choice to accept or reject it. It is important to point out that the same steps apply whether you act on behalf of the joining Club or leaving Club.

Viewing a player's application
At each stage of the approval process, the relevant administrators will be notified via email that an application needs to be reviewed and actioned.
Club Administrators can follow the steps outlined below to view a player's application.
1. Navigate to the Administration Section
2. Click on the Player Transfers tab
3. Beside the application, click the 'View' button.
4. Review the application, please ensure to scroll down to view all of the details.
Adding notes to an application
For each application, there is a 'Notes' section at the bottom which provides a running commentary of any updates to the application including dates, times and who actioned what task etc. These are added automatically when the application is actioned.
As an administrator, you can add additional notes to an application which will be visible to all approvers and the player.
1. To add a note, click the 'Add Note' button.
2. Enter the note you wish to attach to the application and click 'Add Note'.

Approving a player's application
If your club has decided to approve the player's application, as an administrator you can simply click the 'Approve' button to move the application onto the next stage of the process.
Once approved, you will notice that a note has been added to the 'Notes' section with information on who approved the application including the date and time.
The application will move on to the next approval step as outlined in the screenshot below. The status of the application will also be updated according to the next step in the approval process.
The status of the application will continue to update throughout the approval process and this is visible to all approvers and the player themselves. This allows for increased visibility of what stage in the process the application is currently sitting at.
Rejecting a player's application
If your club has decided to reject a player's application, as an administrator you can simply click the 'Reject' button.
NOTE: Depending on the application type and the approval process. A 'Reject' can either kill the application completely OR can simply be progressed to the next stage. |
When rejecting an application within the GAA Association, you must provide a rejection reason and this will be visible to the player.
