Custom questions/answers in Profile rather than in Annual Registration
@Megan, in a recent webinar I suggested that these custom questions/answers would be better stored in a member's profile rather than associated with their annual registration information - so that they could later change their answer. Questions such as "are you willing to help out with lifts to matches" would be such a question, where a parent might wish to review or change their answer sometime after registering.
However, I have found that there really are cases where questions specific to registration are useful, so I'd prefer to also not lose the ability to add custom questions there. For example in our club we would prefer children not to be registered as players if they don't at least turn 4 in the calendar year. So we now ask parents/guardians to confirm that they are at least that age when they register the child.

So ideally it would be nice if we could have both custom registration questions (i.e. as supported now), AND custom profile fields (to be honest not so urgent, but would be nice)
