U12 female players registration

Hi can anyone clarify for me whether underage girls(U12) playing under the Go Games ambit need to be registered with the LGFA or are they covered by GAA registration?  We have some Go Games teams which are female only rather than mixed and I want to be sure we are taking the correct approach.  I've looked at the Go Games training and policy and the Injury Benefit Fund rules and I'm inclined to think they are ok without LGFA registration.  Thanks in advance
