GDPR

In the past when a volunteer was applying for garda vetting, her/his photo id and proof of adress were held by the CO. On completion of the application, these documents were returned to the owner. Nothing was held by the CO. Now when you do the application on Foireann, all your personal documentation remains endlessly. Surely this contravenes GDPR. I ask, as soon as an apllication is completed, please remove all personal information from Foireann. Large organisations in this country have been hacked and personal information accessed. The GAA etc will be no different. Please protect our volunteers.
