Mobile App Auto Logoff

Does anyone know how to keep the mobile app logged in.

We intend on using the app instead of whatsapp, but if messages are being sent or fixtures added, you will not see them unless the user actually logs in. This could cause people to miss updates.

  It would be ideal if messages were also sent to the email accounts, and in calendar event format where the message is a notification of an event such as training or matches.  This would lessen the dependency on the mobile app remaining logged in, and would also allow users who already use calendars to easily have the Foireann events in their calendars.

  At a recent Foireann Communications session, it was clarified that those who "idle-out" of the Foireann app will still receive the notifications, whereas those who actively logout, will not. It was also clarified that if email and SMS were to be a secondary consideration for comms, then, email would be first, as it it much cheaper than SMS messages

  Thanks Ciaran.

  And I agree with the priority - web-based SMS is so prohibitively expensive that our club gave up on that many years ago.
