Notification when Medical Information Changes
I had opened a ticket to request this. However, now that I see this forum, it may be useful to other Foireann users to see that the feature has been requested so that the Foireann team is not burdened by duplicate feature requests from multiple members.
I hear it explained that there is a data privacy reason for not allowing coaches to view medical conditions of players in their team, and that therefore the coach will have to ask an admin. While this to me is unreasonable, I accept that there may have been professional advice in this regard. Accepting this, I make the following feature request instead.
Medical conditions change. A parent will learn of a allergy to a common medication (e.g. brufen), a child will be diagnosed with asthma, or ADHD, or whatever. And this won't just happen at the beginning of any given year prior to registration.
So the admin needs to be alerted when a member's medical condition is changed so that the admin is aware that they need to update the coach with the new up-to-date information.
Without this, the situation is rather unworkable.
Or else give the coaches of each team access in some team output which contains the details of the medical condition. A coach will have a smaller number of players to deal with and so could reasonably see at a glance if something changed.
Or allow a global export of members to CSV, with a "Medical Info Changed On" timestamp column, so that an admin could sort by that column and see which members' medical conditions changed recently.
We just need SOME reasonable way where we can spot medical info changes.

There is no data privacy issue with allowing coaches to be aware of medical conditions which members have expressly submitted during registration to make the club aware of them. Coaches should be able to see this information, full stop. Any data privacy issue would only arise if coaches were to share this information outside of the need-to-know group who are responsible for that individual during club activities.
