Deleted Teams Still Visible ?

At the start of this year I deleted some old Teams and started afresh this year.  As admin I no longer have any visibility of these deleted Teams.  However, when players now login to Foireann they can see that they are still a member of this deleted Team. This is causing confusion with this years Teams.      What is the solution ?

  Can they remove themselves from the team. Usually done by going into the team that they see and clicking 3 dots beside their name and then "Remove Player Role"
