FAQS on Player Transfers

Overview

This article covers some of the most commonly asked questions about Player Transfers on Foireann.

Q) How do I create a transfer application?

A) Log into your Foireann account

• Go to 'Profile'
• 'Player Transfers'
• Click 'Start New Application'
• Start filling out the details of your application -
  • ensure the information on your profile is correct
  • Select the club you are transferring from (only applicable if you have more than one club on your profile)
  • Select the association you are transferring with (only applicable if the club you are transferring from is a part of more than one association)
  • Enter the details of the club you are transferring to (county, club)
• Click 'Submit'
• Continue entering the required information, indicated by * 
• Click 'Review'
• Click 'Submit'
• A pop-up box will appear with the different units that need to review your application before being approved.  These review steps will differ depending on the type of transfer you are doing.

Q) How do I create a transfer application for my child?

A) Log into your Foireann account

• Go to 'Profile'
• Go to 'Family'
• Click on 'View' beside your child's name
• Go to 'Player Transfers'
• Click 'Start New Application'
• Start filling out the details of your application -
  • ensure the information on your profile is correct
  • Select the club you are transferring from (only applicable if you have more than one club on your profile)
  • Select the association you are transferring with (only applicable if the club you are transferring from is a part of more than one association)
  • Enter the details of the club you are transferring to (county, club)
• Click 'Submit'

• Click 'Review'
• Click 'Submit'

Q) My application was rejected, how do I start again?

A) Log into your Foireann account

• Go to 'Profile'
• 'Player Transfers'
• You will be able to see all of your Application History e.g., in progress, rejected, draft applications

• Click 'Start New Application'
• Start filling out the details of your application -
  • ensure the information on your profile is correct
  • Select the club you are transferring from (only applicable if you have more than one club on your profile)
  • Select the association you are transfers with (only applicable if the club you are transferring from is a part of more than one association)
  • Enter the details of the club you are transferring to (county, club)
• Click 'Submit'
• Continue entering the required information, indicated by * 
• Click 'Review'
• Click 'Submit'

Q) How do I review a transfer application?

Note: You must be a Club Admin to review transfer applications for your club.  If you don't have Club Admin access see Assigning/Adding Administrator Access to another Member in your Club

A) Log into your Foireann account

• Go to 'Administration'
• 'Player Transfers'
• You will now see all player applications that involve your club
• Click 'View' to view an application
• If an application requires action there will be a red 'Reject' button to reject the application or a green 'Approve' button to approve the application
