⚠️ If your club is participating in an Independent Team this season, that team must be listed on Foireann.

Creating an Independent Team
To create an Independent Team on Foireann, a request must be submitted by an official County Board, Provincial, or National Association email address (e.g. secretary.antrim@gaa.ie).
Please email the Foireann Support Team and include the following details:
Name of the Independent Team
Names of the parent clubs involved
Relevant associations (e.g. GAA, LGFA, Camogie)
Foireann usernames for at least one admin from each parent club (to be granted access)
Once this information is received, Foireann Support will create the Independent Team within the platform.
Adding Players to an Independent Team
There are two ways to add members to an Independent Team on Foireann:
Option 1: Members Add Themselves
Members with a Foireann login can manually add the Independent Team to their profile:
Log in to Foireann
Go to the Profile section
Scroll to ‘My Club(s)’ and click ‘Add Another Club’
Select the appropriate Association and County
Search for and select the Independent Team
Once added, the member will appear on the Independent Team’s list and can be included on team sheets.
Option 2: Admins Add Members
Admins can add the Independent Team to a member’s profile if the member doesn’t have Foireann access:
Log in to Foireann
Go to the Membership section
Locate the member and open their profile
Scroll to ‘My Club(s)’ and click ‘Add Another Club’
Choose the relevant Association and County
Search for and select the Independent Team
The member will then be included on the Independent Team’s list and can be added to team sheets.
