Overview
The Matrix Templates tab allows users to manage both Custom (User-Defined) Matrices and System-Defined (Predefined) Matrices used in competitions. This feature enables competition administrators to efficiently configure fixture scheduling templates based on team numbers and round structures.

📝 Note: For Competition Management, you need to be assigned a Competition Administrator for your County or Province. |

1. Viewing Matrix Templates
From the Matrix Templates page, you can:

Switch between User Defined (My Matrices) and System (Predefined Matrices) using the filter dropdown.

Adjust the number of records shown using the Rows per page selector.

See matrix details including:
-
Type: Custom or Predefined
-
Name of the matrix
-
Number of Teams supported by the matrix

2. Edit your own (user-defined) matrices
To edit a matrix you created:

Go to the Matrix Templates tab.

Choose Custom Matrices from the filter dropdown.

Click on the name of the matrix you wish to modify.

Make your changes in the Edit Matrix Template screen.

Click Finish to save updates.
3. Create a new custom matrix
To add a new custom matrix:

From the Matrix Templates page, select My Matrices.

Click Create.
-
Enter:
-
A Name for your matrix (required)
-
The Number of Teams (required)
-

Once the number of teams is specified, a matrix input grid will be displayed.

Fill out the round-by-round matchups.
-
Click Finish to save.
4. Delete a custom matrix
To remove a user-defined matrix:

Navigate to the Matrix Templates tab.

Select the checkbox beside the matrix you wish to delete.

Click Delete.
-
The matrix will be removed from the list once the table refreshes.
5. View Predefined System Matrix
To view the matrices provided by the system:

Go to the Matrix Templates page.
-
Choose Predefined Matrices from the dropdown filter.

The list will update to show system-generated fixture templates
