GAA Rules
Approvals
For Inter-County and Intra-Provincial Transfers, applications shall be granted if there is no
objection from the Club or County the player is leaving within 10 days of the forwarding of
the application to the County by the Central Council or Provincial Council, as appropriate.
Please note that the 10-day period starts once the application is processed by the GAA, not
when the player or Club joining submits the application.
For all other applications such as sanctions and permits, all parties must approve the
application before the GAA can grant them. There is no 10-day objection period.
